A major annual event: The Sports Day

At any Thai university, the Sports Day is one of the most important days a year. That's not surprising as sportive as Thai people are. Sports Days are not really the days of hard-fighting athletes alone. As it is with anything in Thailand, such as day comes along with a lot of fun.

Cheerleaders, a parade, costumes, and lots of fans are the ingredients for such a spectacle. The Galleries below are submitted by the Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University. Every year, they play a soccer game with the Faculty of Engineering at Ramkhamhaeng University. While the engineers take playing soccer very serious (and do so on a professional level), the international students seem to play more for fun.

So it's not a problem for anybody when the engineers usually win the game. Have a look yourself!
