In this section, you won't find any cookery courses. Sorry for that. Many international program students in Thailand ask for an opportunity to study specialist programs outside the curriculum of their degree programs, and many graduated students on the job need an update or entry into particular fields as continuing education.
This section therefore offers you information and contact data to a selected range of courses. We select these courses out of our experience with international program students in Thailand. We don't integrate all certificate and diploma courses, only those we consider useful you find below. If you are looking for course topics outside the range listed on this page, please use our search engine on top and bottom of this page to find additional opportunities.
Even if you don't intend to obtain an academic degree, these programs can well increase your chances on the global job market by adding skills in language, SAP, or other fields. The institutions will be happy to advice you on the specialties of their programs.
To apply for a particular program, please contact the university directly. Procedures and requirements differ slightly and are subject to change. We can provide you with a certified translation of your transcripts in English or Thai. Both languages are accepted at Thai universities, but we recommend translation into English - you can later use the certified copy for other purposes outside Thailand.
On the university pages, you find direct links to the programs.
Continuing education (called further education in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland) is an all-encompassing term within a broad spectrum of post-secondary learning activities and programs. The term is used mainly in the United States and Canada. Recognized forms of post-secondary learning activities within the domain include: degree credit courses by non-traditional students, non-degree career training, workforce training, formal personal enrichment courses (both on-campus and online) self-directed learning (such as through Internet interest groups, clubs or personal research activities) and experiential learning as applied to problem solving.
General continuing education is similar to adult education, at least in being intended for adult learners, especially those beyond traditional undergraduate college or university age. However, it is not normally considered to include basic instruction such as literacy, English language skills, or programs such as vocational training or GED preparation. Instead, as the term suggests, it is assumed that the student already has an education and is simply continuing it.
