International Summer School Thailand 2010:
Politics, Economy and Management in Southeast Asia

Time: 21 August - 17 September 2010
Venue: Thammasat University, Bangkok
Program outline:
Lectures are held at Thammasat University, the working language is English. The program comprises a three-week course (Monday through Friday, six units a day, totaling 90 units) and a scheduled trip to historic sites in Thailand or Vietnam (optional) in week 4.
Participants are required to choose and specialize in a subject treated in class by submitting a paper (ca 10 pages) following the program.

- Doing Business in Thailand and Southeast Asia
Requirements:
- Applicants should be students at institutions of higher education or employees at international companies.
- Proficiency in English

Special rates for international students who already are in Bangkok:
The fee for the Summer School Thailand is EUR 750 or about THB 35.250 (including the trip to Chiang Mai):
- Chiang Mai: Arrival by plane. Accomodation at Centara Duangtawan Hotel. Lunch. Museum on the Lanna Kingdom of Northern Thailand. Traditional Northern style dinner (optional).
- 12 September, Chiang Mai: Free. Optional programs: Elefant Farm, Walking Market, Night Bazaar etc.
- 13 September, arrival in Bangkok.
The fee including the trip to Chiang Mai and Vietnam (two nights) is EUR 1110,- or THB 52.170.
