Mahidol University is a public university in Thailand. Founded in 1943, the university was originally known as the "University of Medical Sciences" It is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Thailand and one of the highest ranking in the country in terms of research power, research income, and numbers of international students and lecturers. It is well-known for its first medical school in Thailand, the Siriraj Medical School. Originally focusing on medical programs, the university have expanded remarkably in recent decades. It now offers not only medicine, but a whole range of programs ranging from natural sciences to music studies.

The international program is offered by Mahidol University International College (MUIC). After 26 years of existance, MUIC currently offers 19 undergraduate majors and 22 minors in the Arts, Sciences and Management, along with two master degree programs, for approximately 3,200 students. Furthermore, the college is anticipating even greater student enrollments in the future. It has recently completed the construction of a new building in 2015. With this new addition MUIC  is able to accommodate up to 4,000 students.

The College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) provides innovative graduate programs in management, at the Master, post-Master, and Ph.D. levels. In addition to education and training in the area of General Management, the College offers Master of Management (M.M.) and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) programs in key areas critical to Thailand's continuing development: Entrepreneurship Management, Innovation in Management, Marketing Management, New Technology Ventures, Human Resources Management and Financial Management. Our Ph.D. in Management offers the opportunity for capable professionals to refine and extend their expertise in management as well as their ability to create new knowledge. In addition to graduate education, CMMU also engages in corporate training, consulting, research, and in the development of management and management education tools. These programs provide critical links between the College and local, regional and international companies and organizations. They ensure that the knowledge focus of the College remains fresh, relevant and useful to the society we serve. Mahidol University has long been a leader in the "internationalization" of higher education in Thailand. The College of Management is committed to international partnerships as a means of developing knowledge resources for Thai society. To date, the College has developed dual degree programs, student and faculty exchanges, and special academic programs with universities in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Portugal, China, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, the United States, Ecuador, Australia and New Zealand.
