Photo Story Competition 2018 ‘International Student Life in Thailand'

Photo Story Competition 2018


A picture is worth a thousand words, and a total of 20,000 Thai Baht in prizes are available to be won in a photo story competition. The competition is part of a research project funded by Newton Advanced Fellowship to enhance the quality of international student mobility experience in Thai universities. The theme of the competition is ‘International Student Life in Thailand’. International university students in Thailand are being invited to submit photo stories presented as slideshows consisting of a sequence of four to six digital photographs. Each image must be linked to the other in a logical manner. The aim is to tell one complete story. Each image in the photo story may be supported by a caption of up to 150 words in English. For more information, e-mail Dr Navaporn Snodin (nsnodin@gmail.com). Entries must be emailed in time to reach studentlifeinthailand@gmail.com before the deadline of 19 April 2018.

Thammasat University - A Leader of Sustainable Campus

22 August 2016, At Rangsit Centre, Rector Somkit Lertpaithoon, VR Prinya Thaewanarumitkul and Gasinee Witoonchart jointly declared the launch of Solar Roof on Thammasat Climate Action Project in the support of Solartron Co.,Ltd. represented by Mr. Cherdpong Siriwit, the Chairman, to commit on the 15-megawatt target of solar energy by end of 2017. The achievement of such action will allow Thammasat to be no. 1 in Asia and number 4 in the world as the university that can produce solar energy on-campus. The Climate Action is implemented alongside other environmental awareness campaigns, including electric cars, no plastic bags and green campus. From a record of 7-11, our partner in Rangsit Centre, it reports that at least 800,000 plastic bags were less used throughout previous year.
