Scholarships for international Students

The latest scholarship news.

Please be aware that new scholarship information will come along with universities opening their application periods for each semester, rather than all year long.

Scholarships are a common way to finance a part of your studies. Most scholarships come with requirements you have to meet to get one. Scholarships may try to attract students to a particular program, others may only exist to attract visitors to the university's Web page.

A word of caution: In education, a more expesive program does not need to be the better education, and a cheaper program does not need to mean worse education. Keep this in mind when looking for the program you want to study. Maybe, you can finance a cheaper (and sometimes better) international program with your own means, and need the scholarship only because your choice was too expensive for you.

The majority of scholarships, however, tries to attract the best talent, the best students to their programs. If you can't find a scholarship, don't cry - it does not mean you are a bad student or a bad person.

Millions of students search Google for 'scholarships', and universities know how to use the attractivity of that word to lure visitors to their Web pages. We have way to check whether a scholarship is real (as it is at AIT and Ramkhamhaeng University, for example), or just a marketing tool and not meant really serious.

Just try it out. If you get one, congratulations! If not, try again. There are chances, after all.

Maybe, if you find a program that is good AND fits your budget, you may not need a scholarship at all. Take a look at our Price Check for Thai students, or our Check for non-Thai (international) students, of international Bachelor degree programs in Thailand.
