Since coming to Thailand in 2002, my research interest is on International Higher Education in Thailand. In December 2017, I submitted my research 'International Programs in Thai Higher Education - A Solution to the Thai Higher Education Crisis?' for the series 'Higher Education Research in Asia' at Springer Nature (monograph, currently under revision after peer review feedback, April 2018).
In the 1990s, my research focus was on the effect of the upcoming Internet and World Wide Web on German organizations, in particular on the development of Cyberlaw. My research was published as a monograph at Springer Berlin/Heidelberg in 2001 titled 'Schutz vor Rechtsproblemen im Internet. Handbuch für Unternehmen.' (published in German; in English: 'Protection from legal problems on the Internet. Handbook for organizations.'). The first-named author, Jürgen Zimmerling, was my thesis-supervising professor during my second 'Diplom' degree at FOM University in Essen, Germany, in August 1998. That thesis was developed further and built the foundation for the 2001 monograph.

10.2014 - 08.2015 Co-organizer of the Summer University 'Entrepreneurship in Asia', BUSEM Bangkok University School of Entrepreneurship and Management, responsible for marketing and communication, and operational organization during the SummerU program (09.-29.08.2015) with 114 mainly graduate students from 16 countries, studying at 60 different universities.
